One application will make you feel completely immersed in soothed and smoothed skin. This replenishing lotion is moisturising enough for the body yet balancing enough for sensitive facial skin. Each opulent ingredient is selected for its strong skin affinity, combining the most effective elements found in botany. Throw in omega fatty acids, and hundreds of bioactive compounds and you hold moisturising marvel in the palm of your hand.

This lovely lotion begins with crystalline spring water to which we add wholesome Jojoba for moisture, timeless tamanu for the love of lipids, satiating Seabuckthorn, seaweed to boost elasticity, Aloe Vera to hydrate and ancient acacia to soothe and fuse.

We then invite into the fold five herbal infusions with stories untold. While Marshmallow Root moistens, Slippery Elm silkifies skin and Chamomile calms and balances, cheerful chickweed infusion soothes skin that is drier than the desert, while Rose Hips moisturise, harmonise and oh-so-much-more. Essential essences of Lavender, Vetiver, Grapefruit and Palmarosa encourage elasticity to advance the appearance of smooth, hydrated skin while supercritical extracts of Rosemary and Sage boost stability and bioactive compounds.

Directions: Apply as an emollient to add moisture to dry skin from head to toe. Whenever your skin's feeling thirsty, massage this lotion into any area that needs satiation – elbows, knees, hands, feet, you name it! Add to your facial moisturising regimen as well for a radiant and supple face. For desert dry areas, or if winter dryness has you withered, combine with a squirt with our Seabuckthorn Best Skin Ever to further hydrate heels, elbows and parched patches.

Spring water – The elixir of life gives our luscious lotion the pure foundation it needs to support unlimited infusions of skin-loving wonder.

Jojoba – Holy jojoba contains all natural soluble forms of Vitamin E. This unparalleled emollient is so similar to the skin’s own sebum, it melts easily and endlessly into every thirsty pore. Jojoba nourishes, moisturizes, and helps strengthen the protective barrier of each skin cell.

Tamanu – Tamanu oil is a tantalizing Tahitian-dream that has been used for centuries by the people of Polynesia, Micronesia, and Southeast Asia. Distilled from the nourishing berries of the tamanu tree, the beneficial lipids and fatty acids contained in tamanu make it a natural remedy for skin ulcers, burns, wounds, scars, inflammation, and dry skin.

Seabuckthorn berries – It is no secret that we are super-fans of seabuckthorn, and for good reason. This supercritical extract is rich in antioxidants and omegas, making it a powerful anti-aging infusion for all skin types. With vitamins, lipids, and over 190 different bioactive compounds, seabuckthorn is intensely regenerative. Because it is able to penetrate skin cell membranes, seabuckthorn offers protection for both the inner and outer layers of each individual skin cell. It also suppresses activation of nf-Kb, an inflammation-causing compound that wreaks havoc on the skin.

Aloe vera – Our organic aloe vera offers a double dose of moisturizing protection for the skin. As a naturally-occurring moisturizer, it sinks deep into skin, locking in nourishment from the inside-out. At the same time, aloe vera forms a breathable, porous layer on top of the skin to keep moisture in and keep toxins out. Aloe vera is used to encourage the growth of healthy skin cells, fight inflammation, clear acne, ease eczema, and fade stretch marks.

Acacia – The sacred sap of the acacia tree has enjoyed medicinal use in Africa and the Middle East for thousands of years. Today, this resinous substance is enjoying a renaissance thanks to its potent effect upon the skin. The Ancient Egyptians used acacia to treat cuts, burns, wounds, and even leprosy. This beneficial and ancient ingredient also helps to join spring water with lipids in this lovely lotion.

Seaweed Extract – Seaweed is incredibly rich in essential minerals, phytonutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, amino acids, and omega 3 fatty acids. This captivating cocktail of nourishment makes seaweed a popular remedy for aging skin, inflammation, wounds, rashes, and poor circulation. Seaweed extract is said to increase blood flow throughout the skin, helping the organ to flush internal toxins. Seaweed protects the skin layers from environmental irritants, may fade or reverse wrinkles, and is used to give the skin a healthy glow.

Orange Wax, Citrus sinensis, is a semi-solid wax extracted from the pressed peels of oranges. This special wax contains beneficial phytosterols and anti-microbial properties. It is a natural emulsifier that enhances the stability of the Crème and brings the varied ingredients together.

Herbal Infusions in Jojoba Oil

Marshmallow root – The gooey offerings of this root give us an unexpected emollient that is softening, and balancing. Marshmallow is used to moisten dry, rough sin, soothe psoriasis, treat rosacea, bring balance to overly dry or overly oily skin, and to soften dry, cracked nipples that have become sore from nursing.

Slippery elm – Slippery elm adds its silky skin loving benefits to our lotion. It is used as a natural soother for burns, psorasis and cuts, and is said to speed the healing of skin.

Chamomile – Chamomile is an incredibly caring oil that is deceptively powerful when used in skin treatment. In addition to its calming, sedating nature, chamomile is a known remedy for skin sores, dermatitis, scrapes, cuts, boils, bites, and inflammation.

Chickweed – Itchy, sore skin has no recourse when treated with cheerful chickweed! This playful plant is packed with properties perfectly suited to skincare. Chickweed is a cooling, soothing antiseptic that is perfect for sensitive skin.

Rose hips – The hips of the rose rejuvenate skin from your head to your toes! Rose hips contain high levels of antioxidants, vitamins, and essential fatty acids, plus Vitamin C and lycopene to support elasticity. This ingredient has an affinity for scars, sun spots, dry skin, wrinkles, eczema, acne, inflammation, and environmental damage.

Essential Oils

Lavender – Lavender oil is well-known for its soothing, sedating impact on the mind, but it offers similar benefits for anxious, imbalanced skin. Lavender can be used to treat burns, wounds, cuts, and bruises.

Vetiver – Vetiver oil is hydrating for dry skin.  Acne, cuts, and wounds can all be effectively treated with vetiver, which has been used to address skin ailments since the Victorian era.

Grapefruit – Grapefruit oil stimulates, revitalizes, and detoxifies. It is commonly used to treat cellulite, acne, and water retention. This citrus treat is said to boost circulation, helping to flush toxins from the body through the skin.

Palmarosa – Perfect palmarosa is balancing and regenerative for the skin. It is used to speed the growth of new skin cells, clear acne, deliver moisture to dry skin, balance sebum production in oily skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fade sun spots, and ease eczema.

Supercritical Antioxidants

Sage – Supercritical sage is one of the most-used natural remedies in the world for skincare. Offering a wide range of healing properties that address a lengthy list of skin maladies, sage has a special affinity skin. It is also used to improve skin’s luminosity and overall appearance.

Rosemary – Antioxidant-rich rosemary forms a protective shield upon the skin, keeping invaders out and moisture in. Rosemary is rich in beneficial bioactive compounds, and is a wonderful moisturizer for dry skin. Its protective action can be attributed to high amounts of rosmaridiphenol, carnosic acid, and camphor botanical compounds.
