I love this raw silk face cloth for its gentle exfoliation and natural healing properties from the Sericin silk protein! Sericin is a keratin-rich protein that is produced by silkworms and is present in all silk fibers. Sericin helps the skin retain moisture and has many anti-ageing benefits including the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

Use morning and night with water to gently remove dead skin cells from the face and reveal brighter and tighter skin.

Silk is naturally anti-microbial and will resist the growth of mold and mildew.

The Details:

  • 100% Natural Raw Silk (micro-textured)
  • Gentle Exfoliation, Naturally Anti-Microbial
  • Machine Washable

Directions For Use:

Clean before first use and rinse cloth after each use. To clean, gently machine wash and tumble dry on low.  Do not bleach.

Cleanse your face with soap to remove excess makeup.  Wet the Raw Silk cloth with warm water and wipe the face and neck in circular motions to exfoliate.  Warm water will activate the natural Sericin content in the silk fibers, helping your skin to retain moisture and reveal a healthy glow.

Words from the designer, Damiano:

I design each piece of the collection with these concepts in mind, while also taking inspiration from my Greek and Italian heritage. I source the finest quality silks from small family-run suppliers based in the U.S., that have connections with the best heritage mills in Asia and Europe. Artisan-based production is done by hand in the beautiful suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA. I personally craft many of the pieces, in addition to working with my network of independent seam artisans and small-batch local manufacturers. Recycled packaging materials, low-waste practices, and local artisan production are at the heart of our sustainability practice. We are proud that 70% of our products produce NO fabric waste during the production process! :)
